Item Details
A handwoven Qashqai Shiraz kilim. This wool area rug features a geometric design in a wide-ranging palette of coral, cream, brown, sage, forest green, pink, navy, orange and mustard. The field consists of lattice diamonds filled with stepped medallions over different ground colors over a coral-red field. Framing the field is a wide border featuring stepped geometric motifs over ivory and green along with a laleh abbasi pattern in navy grounded in orange. Selvedges are striped overcast, the rug finishing with a panel to each short side containing solid stripes with ivory warp fringe at each end. Unlabeled.
