Vintage Hepplewhite Style Secretary Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage Hepplewhite style secretary cabinet with hardwood construction and walnut veneers. It features a rectangular top with crown molding above a band of Wall of Troy molding and a gilded applique laurel wreath and wheat sheaves. Below are two cabinet doors with glass panels with intersecting oval and diamond muntins that open to two shelves. The slant front drops down to reveal a fitted interior with five slots atop a small drawer on both sides. The Wall of Troy molding reappears above two stacked drawers with brass pulls of laurels and the piece has acanthus leaves applied to the front corners at the base.
