Hand-Knotted Persian Turkmen Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Turkmen area rug. This wool rug offers an all-over lattice pattern of octagonal S and diamond motifs along with stepped framed hooked memling guls. It is rendered in a palette of scarlet red, forest green, maroon, coral and black. Framing the rug are varying barber pole borders including diamond patterns. Selvedges are double overcast, the rug finishing with short warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
