Antique Limoges Porcelain Tableware

Item Details

A forty one piece collection of antique porcelain tableware from Limoges. Decorated by Haviland on GDA Limoges blanks, the pattern features shaped forms with subtle raised designs. They are embellished to the center with a colorful bird among pink flowering branches with a border of the same flowers and small yellow butterflies with gilded detail to the handles. The group includes twelve salad plates, ten bread and butter plates, seven teacups and twelve saucers. The undersides bear a decorators mark from Charles Haviland and a GDA Limoges mark, placing production at approximately 1900. For more pieces of this pattern see items 025, 026 and 027 in this sale.
