Vintage Handwoven Persian Khalkhal Wool Kilim
Item Details
A vintage handwoven Persian Khalkhal wool kilim. This wool rug features horizontal stripes to the entire field. It is worked in both solid and variegated colors including red, denim, goldenrod, rust, mint, teal, black and white. It also offers a barber pole stitch embroidered across some striped areas. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with a kilim skirt having ivory fringe at one end and yellow tone fringe to the other. Unlabeled.
