A hand-knotted Persian Mashhad Mir-a-Boteh Area Rug. This wool rug offers a field filled with a Mir-a-Boteh pattern rendered in a palette of white, black and red. It is framed by white Laleh Abbasi over taupe, barber pole patterns in red and white, diamond repeats over denim and an outer border grounded in black featuring quatrefoil lobed florets. Selveldges are overcast, the rug finishing with short ivory fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
