Vintage Remco Caravelle Radio Receiver and Transmitter
Item Details
A Remco Caravelle radio transmitter and receiver, circa 1960s. The piece is stored in its original box and includes the radio and Morse code oscillator key. Each piece is finished in a powder blue plastic with silver tone metal highlights and black buttons and other badges. The front of the speaker screen retains its original gold tone Caravelle emblem. The Caravelle’s integrated 3.5-foot antenna receives local AM radio broadcasts and can transmit on AM frequencies in a 500-foot radius.
