A mixed media painting on paper of a Mandrill by well listed School of Paris artist Roger Lersy (1920 – 2004). This piece depicts a loosely rendered and somewhat abstracted image of a Mandrill. The artist has used graphite, opaque and transparent water media, and pastel to construct this painterly abstract image. This piece is signed by hand to the lower left. The painting is presented mounted on a white backing and beneath an acrylic box frame. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
