Item Details
A collection of three rural landscape paintings. Included is an oil painting on loose canvas featuring a landscape populated with various trees, portrayed with thick brushstrokes. This work is not signed and remains unframed. Also included is a watercolor painting on paper of a landscape with a barn surrounded by a fence; this work is illegibly signed to the lower left and remains unframed. The third composition is an oil painting on board featuring a landscape with trees and a stream. This work is signed ‘Clough’ to the lower right; it is presented behind glass with off-white matting, and housed in a black wood frame.
Condition
- foxing and stains throughout all painting; paint loss scattered throughout canvas painting; diagon scratch mark across canvas painting; fraying and wear to canvas edges; toning throughout watercolor painting; foxing and stains throughout mat; scratches and finish loss throughout frame; board is taped to mat and could use more securing.
