An antique Ansonia mantel clock. The clock features a walnut wood case and a Parisan design with spire finials and a carved wood face on the crest.The clock also features a curved bonnet with carved wood finials on the undersides that hang above elegantly carved swan sides panels. The clock features a glass front door that displays a brass bezel surrounding a white face with black Roman numerals and hands and two brass key arbors. Other features of the clock include a silver-tone chime and embossed brass pendulum, an 8 day strike and chime mechanism with strikes on the half and the hour, a winding key and the clock stands on a plinth style base. The clock is marked ‘Ansonia’ on the interior and verso.
