1953 William Suckling Ltd. British Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoon Set in Case
Item Details
A set of eight vintage British sterling silver demitasse spoons by Birmingham silversmith William Suckling Ltd. These eight matching spoons features round bowl with slightly tapered stems, widening at the handle with a waved design at the terminals. Each spoon is stamped ‘S Ld’ alongside hallmarks for Birmingham, sterling, and 1953. The stems are additionally marked, ‘Made in England’ and presented in faux black leather case with white silk-like fabric lining the underside of the lid and black felt lining the interior of the base. The total approximate sterling weight is 2.045 ozt.
