Lot of three sketches on drawing paper, in graphite and charcoal, by the hand of well known modern regional artist Evelyn Levy Shaw (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1921 – 2009), three drawings, well rendered of female models, a third of a rather forlorn journeyman, well representative of the artist’s fine ability to use line and shading to detail the anatomy in a modern style. All are signed, executed on Strathmore laid paper, none are framed.

Condition

Fair-good, minor wear to the edges, smudges, etc. A tear to the piece with the seated female figure, near her right foot. All should frame nicely.
