Vintage Web Silver Co. and Other Sterling and Mother of Pearl Rattles

A pair of vintage sterling silver and mother-of-pearl baby rattles. One is in the shape of a bear with an embossed heart to its center, featuring two bell rattles attached to each side. This piece has an off-white mother of pearl handle and is marked ‘925 Sterling’ to the back. The second rattle by Web Silver Co. has a pale blue mother-of-pearl ring to the top with a sterling silver buckle bale attached to a relief sterling bell. The bell is decorated by a clock framed by a ‘birth record’ ribbon and details of the baby’s weight and date of birth. The rattle is marked ‘Web Sterling’ to the back and has personalized engravings.
