Ackermann and Fritze Royal Vienna Style Porcelain Urn

Item Details

A substantial porcelain urn in the style of Royal Vienna by Ackermann and Fritze. It features a scalloped rim and cylindrical body molded with raised bands. A pair of pierced scroll handles is accented with a floral motif and gilt trim. The vessel is decorated with a classical figural vignette, finished with green and red accents on a cream body. The piece rests on a tiered pedestal base and is marked with a blue beehive logo to the base, however, it was not produced in the Austrian factory.

Condition

- to fair; discoloration and wear to base; various wear to gilt trim; minor marks and faint scratches; adhesive residue to points of contact between urn and base.
