A 1986 oil painting on paperboard by listed Folk artist Howard Finster (1916 – 2001). This Naive style painting depicts a multi-tiered tower to the center of a rocky valley, which is flanked by robed figures flying through the sky or floating on clouds, waving to people seen in the tower. To the lower center is a personal inscription from Finster. The painting is presented in a stained and gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire and a dated inscription, as well as a signature and contact information, to the verso.
