Sèvres Style Porcelain Covered Jar
Item Details
A porcelain covered jar in the style of Sèvres. This piece features a molded shell finial and pair of pierced handles. The body is decorated with a figural vignette on a cobalt ground, finished with encrusted gilt trim. The piece bears a black seal to the base indicating Sèvres style, however, it was not produced in the French factory.
Condition
- minor marks and faint scratches consistent with gentle use.
