A charcoal drawing on paper of a still life by listed artist Ruben Fogelson (1902 – 1999). This monochromatic drawing depicts an arrangement of fruit including pears and grapes held in a basket or loose on crumpled, draped cloth. The composition is rendered with gestural marks and gradual shading. To the lower right corner is a handwritten artist signature. The drawing is presented under glass beneath matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- wear and scuffing throughout the frame; stains throughout the matting; minor toning throughout the paper.
