A mid-century reproduction figure in cream alabaster after Michelangelo’s Renaissance marble sculpture of Moses, produced by Jim of Tirrenia, Italy. The piece depicts the Biblical figure of Moses with a long beard, horns and draped robes, seated while holding the tablets of stone. The work is unsigned and rests on a white rectangular alabaster base. The base is marked with a circa 1950s foil sticker that reads ‘JIM Tirrenia Italy, Marble – Alabaster – Onix’.
