Vintage ICET Arte Murano Art Glass Scottish Terrier Figurine

A figurine by ICET of Venezuela in the style of Murano glass. Depicted is a Scottish terrier, rendered with swirled black fur, applied amber accents, and millefiori eyes. It is marked with a gilt label to the leg which reads: ‘Arte Murano, Icet, Heche en Venezuela.’ Founded in 1957, ICET was started by the Italian Murano glass artist Bruno Ava. ICET produces glass in the Murano style, the one of the only glass company in the Western Hemisphere to do so.
