Two miniature abstract watercolor paintings on paperboard by well-listed American Abstract Expressionist Paul Chidlaw (Cincinnati, 1900 – 1989). These two abstract pieces are constructed of gray, black, and yellow directional brushstrokes applied loosely to the substrate. The larger of the two paintings is titled Essence of Maine an is signed in red to the lower right. The second and smaller painting is untitled and unsigned. These two paintings are unframed and await your choice of presentation.
