A limited edition aquatint etching print titled Grans Rupestres II by well-listed artist Joan Miró (1893-1983). This print depicts an amorphic figure with two legs and a primary color body. This piece is numbered 30 out of an edition of 30 and is signed by hand in graphite to the center left. It is presented behind acrylic glass in a white mat and silver tone wood frame with hanging hardware to the verso.

Born in Barcelona, Spain during 1893 and received his formal education at the Barcelona Ecole des Beaux-Arts and the Academie Gali. He became friends with Pablo Picasso, Alexander Calder, Ernest Hemingway, Max Ernst and Paul Klee. Miró was accepted as a Surrealist in Paris with the recognition of some of the greatest artists of our times.

Condition

- there is a 1.5’" x 2" scratch on the acrylic glass to the lower left center margin.
