A 1994 ink drawing on paper of figures. This Expressionist style drawing depicts a man’s face in profile, which hangs over a composition of a nude figure hovering near somebody sleeping in bed. The sketches are composed of frenetic, linear mark making stacked together and reinforced with gestural linework. Seen to the top margin is a personalized inscription with a monogrammed signature, dated 94, in roman numerals. The drawing is presented against a white background and is placed under glass beneath matting in a black metal frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- to fair; creases and buckling on ground; toning and foxing around edges of ground; gap at bottom left corner of frame; debris on verso of frame.
