A circa 1980s color lithograph on paper titled Horse Player by listed American artist John Doyle (1939 – 2010) from the artist’s Gamblers Series depicting casino and gambling themed imagery. The piece depicts a male figure in a bright yellow jacket, brimmed hat and striped pants standing against a horse race and holding betting tickets under his arm. The work is signed “Doyle” in pencil to the lower right and titled to the lower left. It is matted in cream and presented under glass in a dark brown metal frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- faint discoloration to paper; light scuffing to frame.
