A limited edition serigraph on paper titled Penny Candy by listed Cincinnati artist Edie Harper (1922 – 2010). This print depicts four stylized young girls peering through the glass in a candy kitchen, eagerly checking out the selection. It is signed, titled, and numbered ‘145/750’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. The print is presented unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation. It is accompanied with a brief artist bio.

Edie Harper described herself as a “Jill of all trades trying to master one” since she had been successful in many areas of art including photography, wood sculpture, weaving, and jewelry design, as well as painting and printmaking. Her husband, well-known artist and illustrator Charley Harper, called her “the thinking man’s Bible illustrator.” Edie’s work has been exhibited at the Cincinnati Art Museum, Andover Art Museum, and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati.
