Edie Harper Signed Limited Edition Serigraph "Adam and Ms. Eve"

A signed, limited edition serigraph on paper titled Adam and Ms. Eve by Edie Harper (American, 1922 – 2010). This red, green and yellow palette print depicts the heads of a man and a woman peeking out behind a tree accented with red apples and a pair of lovebirds. The print is numbered 218 in an edition of 500, titled and signed by hand in graphite to the lower margin. The print is presented unframed and is accompanied by a short biography about the artist.

Edie Harper described herself as a “Jill of all trades trying to master one” since she had been successful in many areas of art including photography, wood sculpture, weaving, and jewelry design, as well as painting and printmaking. Her husband, well-known artist and illustrator Charley Harper, called her “the thinking man’s Bible illustrator.” Edie’s work has been exhibited at the Cincinnati Art Museum, Andover Art Museum, and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati.
