A Reagan grandfather clock by Howard Miller. The clock features an elegant design with an aged appearance displaying a Hampton cherry finish on a hardwood and veneer case with a bonnet of swan pediments and an urn finial set on book matched olive ash burl. The case features reeded side columns with ring turned wood accents and acanthus leaf corner blocks with glass side panels and a two-tiered, beveled glass front door with carved floral overlays. Other features of the clock include a silver-tone metal face set in a brass frame with raised brass spandrels throughout, raised gold-tone Arabic numbers and serpentine hands. The face is set below a moon phase clock with presidential hemispheres with a cast metal disk on the pendulum and polished brass weights with decorative bands. The clock also features a Keininger cable-driven, triple chime movement with full chimes and strike on the hour and an auto chime shut off. The clock is labeled ‘Howard Miller’ on the face.
