Item Details
An acrylic painting on canvas board titled Long Long Ago III by listed Israeli artist Haim Finkelstein (born 1940). This outdoor scene features a Victorian style mirror with gold tone frame, reflecting a scene from the late 19th century, juxtaposed with a modern day depiction of the same location. The mirror appears to be hovering in the foreground of a large tree growing in front of a low wall, similar to the tree and wall depicted in the mirror’s reflection. The work is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. It is presented in a silver tone brushed metal frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
