A set of ten sterling silver bouillon cups by Baltimore Silversmiths Mfg. Co. of Baltimore, MD (active c.1903-1905), which became Heer-Schofield in 1905. Each features a hammered round well with an open bottom, an engraved acanthus leaf exterior, and two loop handles, resting on a raised foot ring. The cups are stamped with the maker’s mark alongside ‘Sterling’ to the sides. They come with ten ceramic inserts by Lenox, which have gilded rims. The total approximate weight, excluding the ceramic inserts, is 27.220 ozt.
