An antique Cincinnati hand-carved wooden box. The box has a hinged lid with a bas-relief sunburst and half circle design to the wide border, and to the center, a carved geranium motif, with a stipple-textured background. The front, sides and back of the back are also carved with the geranium motif, along with a phlox motif, all are banded with raised borders. The box has a beveled base carved in an egg and dart motif.
