A color linoleum cut titled Picador and Matador designed by Pablo Picasso (Spain/France, 1881–1973) and printed in Pablo Picasso Linoleum Cuts Bacchanals, Women, Bulls & Bullfighters, published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. Produced late in Picasso’s career, this colorful abstract image is rendered in black, taupe and tan and portrays the picador standing by his horse beside the matador before the action of the bullfight. This work is numbered and signed to the lower margin by an unknown hand. The image is printed on heavy stock and is unmatted and unframed.
