Silver Age Comics with "The Phantom" Issues #1 and #2

A collection of Silver Age comics and vintage Mad magazines. Of particular note are the first two issues of the Phantom published by Gold Key in November 1962 and February 1963, respectively. This is the first comic book version of Lee Falk’s classic comic strip character. Also included is issue #7 of the same series (May 1964). Other standout issues include two issues of Horror Monsters (Charlton, #6 1963 and #9 Sept. 1964), issue #2 of Mighty Hercules (Gold Key, Nov. 1963), issue #140 of Our Army at War (DC, March 1964), and three issues of Showcase featuring Tommy Tomorrow of the Planeteers including the first issue featuring the character (DC, #41 Dec. 1962, #46 Oct. 1963, #47 Dec. 1963).
