A 1953 oil painting on canvas signed ‘A. Lyle’. This work features an interior scene and depicts an older man with curly white hair and a mustache, seated at a table inspecting and handling a model sailboat. It is signed and dated ‘53’ by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is presented in a wooden frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
