A copy oil painting after an 1875 painting titled The Bunch of Lilacs by French painter Jacques Joseph (James) Tissot (1836-1902). This study of a Realist work depicts a 19th century woman in an elaborately-ruffled pale blue dress standing on the reflective tile floor of a tropical botanical garden while holding a vase full of lilacs. This piece is signed ‘Tintoretto’ to the lower right in paint and presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with ornate cartouche molding and wire to the verso for hanging.

- slight scuffs to frame.
