A brass reproduction sculpture after French artist Ernest Rancoulet (1870-1915). This sculpture depicts the proud Roman goddess of the hunt, Diana, equivalent to the Greek goddess known as Artemis. She is depicted standing with a tall staff and her arm placed over the back of a stag. The sculpture bears the artist’s in-mold signature to the lower section and a seal reading ‘European Bronze Finery’. The piece is presented on a black marble base.
