Item Details
A handwoven and embroidered Moroccan wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, clementine, ivory, sepia, olive, violet, and carnation. The flatweave ground is crimson with thin solid colored stripes, along with bands of embroidered triangularly shaped motifs, like diamonds, X-shapes, and zigzags, and framed with a border to the edges. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a bright clementine colored warp fringe to one end, while the other is bound. Unlabeled.
