A limited edition hand embellished serigraph titled Mermaid by artist Jiang Tie-Feng (Chinese, born 1938). The print depicts a stylized, partially nude mermaid with flowing dark hair, gently cradling a flower with both hands. This print, rendered primarily in a palette of dark pigments, is accented with expressive gold- and silver-toned lines and chalky hues of red, pink, and blue. It is signed and numbered ‘238/293’ by hand in gold tone ink to the lower margins. The print is matted in black and presented behind glass in a gold tone wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso.

- accretions; frame glass would benefit from cleaning; wear to frame; tears and wrinkling to paper backing; water spots to paper backing.
