A collection of World War II military memorabilia. This lot features a Japanese yosegaki hinomaru (寄せ書き日の丸) flag created for Japanese soldiers by well-wishers as they left home for World War II. The lot also includes various military memorabilia including a World War II era metal medical box, a collection of service ribbons, a US Army Good Conduct Medal, a collection of sail needles, one chopstick, photographs of sites and people from Europe and Asia, and numerous newspapers, certificates, labels, letters, and tickets in English or Japanese.

- some edge wear and discoloration to paper elements; many paper pieces have folds; some tarnish to some metal pieces; curling and fading to photographs. flag has folds, significant discoloration, and several small holes.
