Item Details
A hand-knotted Pakistani Bokhara area rug . This carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of slate blue, pastel pink, white, black, and gray. The field is patterned with octagonal ’elephant’s foot ’ and Chemche guls in a lattice arrangement. It is framed by rhomboid guard borders and a main border of hooked hexagonal medallions. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
