A lead-copper alloy figure after the Fuente de Cibeles sculptural fountain in Madrid’s Plaza de Cibeles, created in the late 20th-century by Style Bronze. The piece depicts Phrygian goddess Cibeles riding in a chariot being pulled over a stone path by two lions, as a pair of cherubic figures hold vessels behind her. The unsigned piece is mounted to a banded calcite plinth marked with an embossed metal ‘Style Bronze’ brand tag.

- to fair; nicks, accretion, markings and discoloration throughout; scuffing to underside; please note that this item has a high lead content.
