1937 Watercolor Painting with Graphite of Roses

A watercolor painting with graphite on paper. This piece depicts a spherical vase filled with white and yellow roses, some dropping leaves onto the table below. It is signed and dated ‘Lillian E. Dege ’37’ to the lower right corner as well as to the verso. This piece is presented behind a gray mat and glass in a cream colored wood frame with a gold tone sight edge and and wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- some discoloration to paper; nicks and scratches around the frame; corner joints do not meet evenly.
