A 1987 Golden Age of the Circus set by Steiff. This limited edition set features a hand crafted cage wagon for Leo the lion, comprised of wood and marked ‘Steiff Circus Fighting Lions’. Included is a plush lion passenger with mohair fur, glass pupil eyes, and hand-painted paw pads. The original packaging reads ‘Steiff Button in Ear, Golden Age of the Circus’ with EAN #0100/87.
