A signed oil coastal scene painting on canvas by listed American artist Herbert Foerster (New York; 1910 – 2000). This painting depicts crashing waves of the ocean hitting a shoreline covered in sand and rocky boulders. Signed by hand to the lower left corner, the painting is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.
