Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board of a dog. This well-rendered painting depicts a black cocker spaniel posed in profile, as it stares upward to accentuate its spotted snout. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted inscription in a gold tone, which reads ’Schofield’s, El Centro, California’. The painting is presented under glass in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finish.
