A pair of pastel drawings on fabric by Gerda Christoffersen. These pieces are by American artist Gerda Christoffersen (1917-2012). They depict portraits of figures with traditional Indigenous American style rendering and motifs. These pieces are signed ‘Cristoffersen’ to the lower right corner. One is titled ‘Navajo Brave’ and the other is titled ‘Blue Mountain’ to the lower left. These pieces are presented in wooden frames, under glass, with wire hangers to their verso.

Condition

- light wear to frame finishes; staining to matting; minor marks toward edges of glass.
