Item Details
A hand-knotted wool Sarouk area rug. This pile rug features a mirrored floral design with palmettes and floral raceme in a palette of crimson red, sapphire blue, hues of green, yellow, brick and ecru. It has broken leaf and floral guard borders in the field colors, with a wide herati main border on a sapphire blue ground. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishes with a kilim skirt and long warp fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
