An early to mid-century German oil landscape painting on canvas mounted to board. This idyllic scene depicts a dock on a river beside a cottage, with tall trees rising against a cloudy sky. The work is signed illegibly in paint to the lower left. It is presented under a fabric liner in a wood frame with a metallic finish, wired to hang.
