A bronze sculpture after Buck McCain’s Prayer to the Healing Spirit. This cast metal sculpture is after an original work by American artist Buck McCain. It depicts a figure on a horse standing on a rock as he holds a cattle skull up toward the sky. The sculpture sits on a round wooden base. It is marked on the underside of the base ‘Prayer To the Healing Spirit By Buck McCain 1988 FM’.

Condition

- accretions throughout particularly to mane and feet of horse and base; chipping to both ends of bow across front of saddle; one end of bow missing with glue residue from previous repair; some surface wear throughout; scratches throughout wood base.
