Item Details
A watercolor painting on paper by artist R. Foster. This piece depicts a calm river with a single canoe on the water and trees lining the banks. It is painted with cloudy washes of color and brown lines for tree branches and the shore. The piece is signed in paint to the lower left and presented behind a mat and glass in a thin painted green and gold tone wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- foxing on painting at top center; buckling throughout ground; discoloration throughout painting; accretion beneath glass; wear to edges and paint on frame; water spot at bottom of backing paper on verso of frame.
