Item Details
A pair of oil paintings on canvas by an anonymous artist. These figure studies depict reclining nude female figures on light green backgrounds. One is a realistically-proportioned study, and the other has perspective stylized. They are unsigned and presented as unframed, stretched canvases.
Condition
- craquelure present on white figure; accretion on thigh and wrist of white figure; hole at bottom right of canvas with tan figural painting; scuff marks, paint loss and wear to edges of each canvas; discoloration and foxing on verso of each canvas.
