Lot of three sketches on drawing paper, in graphite and charcoal, by the hand of well known modern regional artist Evelyn Levy Shaw (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1921 – 2009), three drawings, well rendered of male models, two semi-nude, one a bust of an older gentleman, well representative of the artist’s fine ability to use line and shading to detail the anatomy in a modern style. One is simply signed ‘Eve’ the others ‘E Levy.’ None are framed.
Condition
Fair – good, with wear to the edges, some smudges and stains, all should frame nicely, however.
